Fourth Form Challenge

From September 2007 the School has introduced a new programme for scholars in their first year with us. Monday and Wednesday afternoons will be used to provide time for a range of activities and skills which will try both to promote Dean Close values and to deliver more of an ‘all-round education' to our scholars.

Monday afternoons will focus on Dean Close core values; PSHE; Study skills; ICT skills; Citizenship; Community Action awareness; and International awareness.

Wednesday afternoons will involve more of an Outward Bound programme: Camp craft & orienteering; First Aid; Life Saving skills; Leadership challenges; Environmental issues/country side code 

All pupils will then join the CCF in the Remove, which operates on Wednesdays, and on Mondays will join the school activities programme.
