    • Weekly rehearsals, with string sectionals taken by the Carducci Quartet, conducted by the Director of Music

    • Comprises the department's most advanced string players
    • Weekly rehearsals and sectionals led and directed by the Carducci Quartet
    • Often augmented with wind players for performances of Mozart symhonies and concerti
    • Lunchtime recital at St. Martin-in-the-Fields
    • Performs annually at the Pittville Pump Room, Cheltenham
