Girls take tennis as their major sport during the Trinity term, playing a full fixture programme against other schools.  In addition, boys’ and girls’ teams are entered into the Schools’ National Tennis Competition for which Dean Close has had a good record of success over recent years. Dean Close has eight all-year-round hard courts with an additional 20 all-weather courts available throughout the Trinity term.  There are four qualified coaches including Matt Yemm, an LTA level 3 coach, who has over 16 years’ experience. In addition to the regular sports programme, pupils (and parents) of all abilities are offered 1:1 and group lessons all year round.


    What does Dean Close offer its tennis players:
