Mr Jonathan Lancashire, Headmaster, 2008 onwards
A former Mathematics Teacher, Jonathan Lancashire was the Bursar at Dean Close for eight years before applying for the role of Headmaster in 2008. Coming into the role, he said that he remained as determined as ever to maintain the core values upon which the School was built, including its Christian ethos, the education of the whole person and valuing every individual.
The Headmaster is a great believer in developing individuals' self-reliance and ability to think, and new initiatives focusing on these began in his first full academic year.
